Character is an important part of what makes us who we are. By following the examples of positive influences, people can shape their own character according to their own feelings, thoughts, preferences, and beliefs. Above all, developing character will help a person gain self-respect and become more respected by others.
If you or anyone you know has experience with these or other difficult situations, it’s important to know that you’re not alone. Talking to a parent, teacher, counselor, family member, or other trusted adult can help you to resolve the situation before things become too difficult to control.
