Safety Playbook for Individual Development
and Engagement of Responsible Students
Introduction and Objective >
Have you ever noticed a friend acting differently when they are around certain people? Sometimes it can seem like your friend is trying to be a different version of him- or herself around others. It’s almost as if they want to be liked and popular so much that they forget to be themselves. What happens is that the popular kids end up liking a version of your friend that isn’t really them, and that can make things difficult for everyone.
Today’s lesson objective is: Students will explain what character is, and determine the importance of remaining true to their own character in their daily actions.
