Safety Playbook for Individual Development
and Engagement of Responsible Students
Introduction and Objective > Healthy Ways of Communicating > Having Difficulty Communicating > Ways to Have Difficult Conversations > Asking for Assistance with Communication > Summary
It can sometimes be difficult to communicate in a healthy manner. This is especially true when you fear that a conversation may result in a conflict or argument. Even though a conversation can be hard, it’s important to not let that stop you from sharing your thoughts and feelings with others.
If you or anyone you know has experience with these or other difficult situations, it’s important to know that you’re not alone. Talking to a parent, teacher, counselor, family member, or other trusted adult can help you to resolve the situation before things become too difficult to control.
Before you go to the next page, make sure that you’re ready for your assessment!
