Introduction and Objective > What is Cyberbullying?
Quite simply, cyberbullying is any bullying that occurs using electronic communication. This means that texts, videos, emails, posting to a social media website, pictures, or even phone calls can all be considered cyberbullying.
Since the definition is so simple, it can seem like nearly everything can be considered cyberbullying. While this is true, below are some examples of cyberbullying that you may not be familiar with.
This list does not contain all of the types of cyberbullying. Many more exist. However, the first step to preventing cyberbullying is to identify it, so make sure you are familiar with these examples.
