Media

Introduction and Objective

What is your favorite thing to do online? Do you play games, watch videos, or chat with friends? Do you enjoy going to social media websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Tumblr, or Yik Yak? These sites are great places to interact with friends and family. However, these sites are often the places where cyberbullying happens. The truth is that cyberbullying affects hundreds of thousands of students every day. Knowing about cyberbullying is one of the best strategies to help prevent it.

Today’s lesson objective is: Students will identify examples of cyberbullying, explain how cyberbullying affects individuals, and discuss ways to prevent or stop cyberbullying.
