Communication

Introduction and Objective

Have you ever tried to communicate with someone and you weren’t quite sure if your message was understood? Chances are this happens all the time. Sometimes the misunderstanding is due to a breakdown of technology. Other times it could be because the sender was not clear or the receiver was distracted. Communication is always a problem, but it doesn’t have to be. While individual personalities play a role in how people communicate, clear and effective communication skills play an important part in building and maintaining healthy relationships.

Today’s lesson objective is: Students will make connections between personality and styles of non-verbal communication and determine which styles of non-verbal communication are most effective.
