Introduction and Objective > Saying "No"
We all have the right to voice our opinion and to stand up for what we believe is right. This means saying "no" or refusing without a feeling of guilt. Saying "no" to a friend or someone you like can be difficult, especially when you want to be accepted. What will they think of you if you say "no"? Or what if they don’t want to hang out with you anymore? Regardless of these feelings, there will be times in everyone’s life when saying "no" is the right thing to do, even if it causes us to lose a friendship.
