Decision-Making

Introduction and Objective

You and your friends were dropped off at the movie theater to see the brand-new movie. There were no parents staying at the movie theater. One of your friends decides to leave with his/her older brother and wants you to join. They are going to a high school party. What do you do?

It can be hard to make decisions like this quickly. You want to make a good decision, but you’re rushed. Do you stay at the movie theater, or do you go with your friend? More importantly, how do you make that decision?

Today’s lesson objective is: Students will identify the steps in the decision-making process and explain the importance of completing each step.
